The Vietnam Interventional Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society (VIGES) was established on January 4, 2025, with the mission of connecting, training, and developing the field of interventional gastrointestinal endoscopy in Vietnam. The Society brings together leading experts, doctors, and researchers, aiming to improve treatment quality, update new technologies, and promote professional collaboration. VIGES also organizes workshops, training programs, and communication activities to disseminate knowledge and contribute to the development of the medical community both domestically and internationally.

The Vietnam Society of Interventional Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (VIGES) was established with the mission of becoming the leading organization in the field of gastrointestinal endoscopy in Vietnam, promoting the development of advanced techniques, connecting the expert community, and providing effective medical solutions for patients.
