Announcement of the Scientific Conference: Application of Several Advances in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Early Colorectal Cancer

The Vietnam Society of Interventional Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (VIGES), in collaboration with Hung Vuong General Hospital, is pleased to announce and invite our esteemed colleagues to attend the scientific conference with the theme: "Applying some advances in the diagnosis and treatment of early colorectal cancer".

This workshop aims to update participants on the latest advancements in gastrointestinal endoscopy and share practical experiences in the early detection and treatment of colorectal cancer, one of the most common malignancies in Vietnam today.

The workshop will include in-depth expert presentations on important topics such as:

• The role of new endoscopic technologies in early colorectal cancer screening.
• The value of non-invasive testing (FIT-test) in early colorectal cancer screening in the community.
• Gastrointestinal bleeding not due to portal hypertension: Sharing experiences from Hung Vuong General Hospital
• Colon cleansing techniques improve the quality of colonoscopy.
• Technical guidelines for the application of advanced endoscopy and endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD).

Morning session:

• 08:50 – 09:20: Signing of cooperation agreements between VIGES and other organizations.
• 09:30 – 10:40: Specialized presentations on new endoscopic technologies and screening techniques
• 10:55 – 12:00: Presentation on colon cleansing techniques and discussion

Afternoon session:

• 14:00 – 16:30: In-depth technical guidance on interventional endoscopy and ESD.
• 16:30 – 17:00: Discussion and closing remarks
