Dear Colleagues,

The Vietnam Interventional Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Society (VIGES) would like to respectfully announce and invite our colleagues to submit research abstracts to the 1st National Interventional Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Conference - VIGES 2025.

This is an important scientific event marking a milestone in the development of interventional digestive endoscopy in Vietnam, creating opportunities to exchange, learn and share experiences between domestic and foreign experts.

1. OVERVIEW OF THE CONFERENCE

The 1st National Interventional Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Conference - VIGES 2025 is the first scientific event of the Vietnam Association of Interventional Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, organized with the goal of connecting global knowledge with local practice, improving the quality of digestive health care in Vietnam.

for each abstract accepted to report at the conference

4. RESEARCH SUMMARY REQUIREMENTS

4.1. General requirements:

Research abstracts must not have been published at other domestic and international scientific conferences
Research content must be related to the field of interventional digestive endoscopy
Comply with regulations on medical research ethics
Full declaration of conflicts of interest (if any)

4.2. Technical requirements:

Language: Vietnamese or English
Length: Maximum 350 words (excluding title, author name and unit)
Number of authors: Maximum 10 authors
Number of units: Maximum 5 units
Structure: Includes Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusion
Table/Figure: Each table or figure is equivalent to 50 words

4.3. Presentation requirements:

IMPORTANT POWERPOINT REQUIREMENTS:

Slide ratio: 16:9 (required)
Template: Use the official template of the VIGES 2025 conference
Presentation time: 10 minutes + 5 minutes discussion
Presentation language: Vietnamese (with English subtitles if needed)
File format: PowerPoint (.pptx) or PDF

Important Note:
The official PowerPoint template will be emailed to authors once their abstract is approved for oral presentation at the conference.

For Doctors (12 reports)

A. Diagnostic endoscopy:

Magnified endoscopy and staining
Artificial intelligence in diagnostic endoscopy
Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and interventional applications
Early diagnosis of gastrointestinal cancers

B. Interventional endoscopy:

Endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR/ESD)
ERCP and biliary-pancreatic intervention
Emergency interventional endoscopy
Endoscopic suturing of defects.
POEM and transnatural wall endoscopic techniques

C. Clinical research:

Evaluating treatment effectiveness
Research on complications and management
Comparing intervention methods
Multicenter research

For Nurses (3 reports)

A. Patient care:

Preparing the patient before endoscopy.
Post-endoscopic care
Health education for patients and their families.

B. Infection control:

Disinfecting endoscopic equipment
Infection control procedures
Safety in the endoscopy room

C. Quality Management:

Improving care processes
Ensuring patient safety
Research on the quality of nursing services

All studies on humans must be approved by the Ethics Committee.
The consent of the patient participating in the study is required.
Protecting patients' personal information.
Do not use images that can identify the patient.

Regarding the commitment:

The author commits to attending and presenting at the conference.
No withdrawals after acceptance (except in cases of force majeure).
Adhere to the conference schedule and regulations.
Use the official VIGES 2025 PowerPoint template.
