On the morning of January 4, 2025, the founding congress of the Vietnam Society of Interventional Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (VIGES) was successfully held in the main hall of Bach Mai Hospital (Hanoi), opening a new chapter for the field of gastroenterology in Vietnam.
