NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INTERVENTIONAL GASTROINTESTINAL ENDOSCOPY 2025

Dear Colleagues,

The Vietnam Society of Interventional Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (VIGES) is pleased to announce to all its members and colleagues the following plan for the 1st National Interventional Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Conference – VIGES 2025:

1. FIRST NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INTERVENTIONAL GASTROINTESTINAL ENDOSCOPY – VIGES 2025

   1. Time: October 3rd & 4th, 2025
   2. Location: Muong Thanh Luxury Ha Long Centre Hotel
      No. 2 Ha Long Street, Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province
   3. Main languages ​​in the conference: Vietnamese & English.

2. CONFERENCE PROGRAM

   1. Day 1: October 3, 2025 – Friday afternoon
      Time: From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
      • Continuing Education (CME)
      • Nursing Session
   2. Day two: October 4, 2025 – All day Saturday
      • Morning: Plenary Session
      • Afternoon: Specialized Presentation Session
   3. CME Eligibility Requirements:

      - Attend more than 70% of the class time in person or online
      
      - Complete the post-test with a score of 5 or higher

   The main topics of the scientific conference are:

   • Updates on the latest advances in interventional gastrointestinal endoscopy worldwide: A plenary session featuring presentations from leading professors in the field of gastrointestinal endoscopy.
   • Updates on the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases: Review reports and studies on the role, application, and effectiveness of endoscopy in gastrointestinal diseases.
   • Updates on the diagnosis and treatment of biliary and pancreatic diseases: Review reports and studies on the role, application, and effectiveness of endoscopy in biliary and pancreatic diseases.
   • Multidisciplinary collaboration in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases: Reports on the management of chronic diseases such as IBD, liver cancer, gastrointestinal tract cancers, etc.
   • Reports were submitted by professional associations: the Society of Colorectal Surgery, the Society of Nutrition, the Society of Radiology, etc.
   • Nursing: Disinfection during gastrointestinal endoscopy

   This is an opportunity for experts from Vietnam and abroad, along with members and colleagues from all over the country, to meet and exchange ideas on many practical and up-to-date topics. To ensure the conference's success, the Organizing Committee would like to announce and respectfully invite all members of the Vietnam Society of Interventional Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and colleagues interested in the field of gastrointestinal endoscopy to attend VIGES 2025.

3. FORMAT AND DEADLINE FOR REGISTERING SCIENTIFIC REPORTS

   1. Format of scientific report: oral presentation
   2. The oral presentation will be presented in PowerPoint, with a 16:9 aspect ratio, using the attached conference template.
   3. Deadline for submitting papers: From May 30, 2025 to July 20, 2025

4. CONFERENCE REGISTRATION DEADLINE

   1. Before September 15, 2025: Free
   2. From September 16, 2025 until before the conference: Fee: 500,000 VND/delegate
