In a collective effort to address this challenge, M2BPGi \u2013 a blood biomarker test \u2013 promises a breakthrough in the early diagnosis of liver cancer and cirrhosis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>* M2BPGi \u2013 Breakthrough diagnostic technology<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>M2BPGi (Mac-2 Binding Protein Glycosylation Isomer) is a substance produced very early in liver cell development, especially in the liver cells of people with chronic hepatitis. Serum M2BPGi levels correlate with the stage of liver fibrosis, helping to assess the degree of fibrosis and detect hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) early with high accuracy. This is a relatively simple blood test that provides quick results, making it a powerful tool for physicians to determine the degree of liver fibrosis, predict disease prognosis, and forecast liver cancer. The outstanding advantages of this method are its accuracy, non-invasiveness, safety, and convenience for patients compared to traditional liver biopsy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Multicenter research \u2013 International collaboration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bach Mai Hospital is participating in an international multi-center study on M2BPGi. The study involves 14 leading medical centers in Asia, including Japan, Thailand, Singapore, and Vietnam.
